The uphill hike is not difficult but the 30 minute descent is challenging without trail shoes/runners. This was a highlight of our visit to Meteora.”

“Bc of rain the hiking tour was cancelled last minute bf morning start. They offered us to participate to mini bus tour with stops, we accepted. The rain stopped in 20-30 min though and we think actually it was good for hiking. The guide was professional and kind. He gave me information on the map about hiking paths for afternoon on my own. I used the short and easy one to hermits' caves and it was amazing.”
